Aerospace recruiting
Aerospace and eVTOL recruiting
We recruit propulsion, flight systems, manufacturing, and test engineers and Aerospace technicians for aircraft and eVTOL teams.
Recruiting for aircraft and eVTOL teams
Aerospace work runs on rigor. Teams need people who are comfortable with careful design, documentation, and testing, and who can still move quickly at a company building a new aircraft or electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) vehicle.
Selwyn Group recruits for Aerospace and eVTOL teams alongside our work for Robotics teams and hardware companies. We learn what your program needs, whether that is a propulsion engineer for electric motors, a flight test engineer, or technicians to build and maintain prototype aircraft, and we search for people with relevant hands-on experience.
Some Aerospace roles require U.S. citizenship or permanent residency because of export control rules such as ITAR. We confirm requirements like these at intake and screen for them early, so no one’s time is wasted. We fill permanent, direct-hire roles, are based in the Bay Area, and recruit nationwide.
We also recruit for Robotics and hardware engineering teams, or see how we work with employers.
Roles we fill
- Propulsion engineers: electric motors, batteries, and powertrain
- Flight systems engineers: flight controls, avionics, and integration
- Manufacturing engineers: composites, assembly, and tooling
- Test engineers: ground, environmental, and flight test
- Aerospace technicians: assembly, inspection, and maintenance
- Technical leads and engineering managers
How we search
A focused process, with you informed at every step.
-
01
Intake
We learn the program, the team, and any eligibility requirements for the role.
-
02
Targeted search
We look for people with Aerospace or eVTOL experience, including people who are not actively looking.
-
03
Hands-on screening
We interview each candidate about the systems they have designed, built, or tested.
-
04
Shortlist and support
You get a short list with our notes, and we help through interviews, the offer, and the first months.
