About us

The right people, placed with care

Selwyn Group recruits critical talent for robotics and hardware companies: engineers, technicians, operations, supply chain, and technical leaders. We’re based in the Bay Area, recruit nationwide, and take on fewer searches so we can do each one well.

Meet the founder

Khanh Nguyen

Founder & Recruiter

I’ve spent my career inside large, fast-moving companies across tech, healthcare, and aerospace. Working on the front lines, I’ve seen firsthand how great companies hire: what they look for, what makes a candidate stand out, and what makes a new hire succeed after day one.

I started Selwyn Group to put that experience to work for both sides of the table. For candidates, it means honest guidance and a real advocate in the process. For companies, it means a partner who understands the role, the team, and the vision, and who only brings forward people worth meeting.

Nothing beats helping someone land the job they’ve been working toward, while helping a company build the team that gets it where it’s going.

Our mission

Selwyn Group connects robotics and hardware companies with the people who build what’s next. We know these industries from the inside, so we find talent that fits the work, the team, and the mission.

What we believe

01

Fit over volume

A short list of the right people beats a long list of maybes. We present candidates we have interviewed and would stand behind.

02

Straight talk

We tell employers and candidates what we actually see: the market, the salary range, and how a process is going.

03

The long view

A placement is not finished when the offer is signed. We stay in touch with both sides after the start date.

Who we work with

Employers

Robotics and hardware companies hiring for permanent roles, who want a partner to run the search and handle the screening.

Candidates

Engineers, technicians, and technical leaders ready for their next permanent role.
